On Friday, September 21, students, staff, and community volunteers gathered to complete the sandbox surrounding the playground equipment. Brady Environmental and Togiak Fisheries donated time and equipment to deliver the sand. Eager students shoveled and raked alongside community volunteers William Ilutsik, Tommy Owens, and Arthur Sharp. John Sharp helped to fill in the sandbox he and Tommy had designed and built. By the time the fifth load of sand was arriving, the students were already playing in what feels like the "World's Largest Sandbox." Thanks to everyone who helped make this long awaited project a huge success!
